Boat Rentals

Spend a day exploring beautiful Waterhen Lake with one of our rental boats. Whether you’re fishing or enjoying a day on the water with family and friends, we have options to suit your adventure.

Aluminum Boat Rentals

• 16-foot aluminum boats with 20HP motors
   

• $60/hour (3-hour minimum)
   

• $120-150 per day
   

• Fuel and applicable taxes are extra.
   

• Hourly rentals are first come, first served (no reservations).
   

Fishing Boat Reservation Policy

• Guests reserving a boat for the day of their arrival should note that the boat will be held exclusively for them. If you no longer require your reservation, please notify us as soon as possible.
   

• Reservations cancelled after 9:30 a.m. on the rental day will be charged the full daily rental rate.

• Tawaw Cabins reserves the right to cancel any boat reservation if unsafe weather or lake conditions exist.

 

Pontoon Boat Rentals

• 24-foot Pontoon Boat (90 HP)
   

• $375/day
   

• $350/day for consecutive rental days
   

• Fuel and applicable taxes are extra.

• Maximum capacity: 10 guests 
   

Pontoon Rental Policies

• 24 ft pontoons, 90 HP motors, $375 a day, consecutive days are $350 a day plus fuel and GST.

• A 50% deposit is required at the time of booking (tax included).

• Pontoon boat capacity 10 people - life jackets supplied. 

• Tawaw Cabins reserves the right to cancel any boat reservation if unsafe weather or lake conditions exist. The reserver will have the opportunity to rebook the boat at a later date or receive a refund for any deposit put down. They will not be charged in the result of a cancellation made by us. 

• Deposits are refundable only if cancelled at least 30 days before your rental date, less a $25 cancellation fee.
   

• Cancellations made within 30 days of the rental date are non-refundable.
   

• If Tawaw Cabins cancels due to unsafe weather or other safety concerns, guests may choose either:
   

  • a full refund, or
     

  • to reschedule to another available date.
     

• Reservations may be moved to a later available date with advance notice, but cannot be moved to an earlier or different date within the cancellation period for personal reasons.
   

• Guests are responsible for any damage caused by negligence or misuse. A $500 credit card authorization may be required to cover insurance deductibles for excessive damage.
   

• Boats may only be operated during daylight hours:
   

  • 9:00 a.m. – 8:30 p.m. (summer)
     

  • Hours are reduced later in the season as daylight decreases.
     

• The pontoon boat is permitted on the main lake only unless prior approval is obtained from Tawaw Cabins staff.
