In 2014, DJ King, Jeremy Norman, and Jim Norman became the owners of Tawaw Cabins and Outfitters.

DJ King

DJ is our front line manager, handling guest bookings, outfitting, and helping visitors make the most of their stay. A former NHL player, DJ combines his passion for the outdoors with exceptional customer service. He's also well known for his WPCA chuckwagon racing. DJ brings leadership, teamwork, and a passion for the outdoors to everything he does, making every guest feel right at home.

Jeremy Norman

Jeremy Norman is a lifelong outdoors enthusiast who enjoys fishing, hunting, and sharing the beauty of Waterhen Lake. While he primarily serves as the Tribal Chief of the Meadow Lake Tribal Council, he remains involved with the resort, where his children are often the friendly faces welcoming guests and helping create memorable stays.

Jim Norman

Jim Norman is one of the owners of Tawaw Cabins and has spent a lifetime sharing his love of the outdoors with family and guests. Today, he serves as an Elder Mentor for Flying Dust First Nation and alongside his wife, continues the annual Canada Day pancake breakfast and catering for outfitting guests. His wisdom, hospitality, and dedication remain an important part of Tawaw Cabins.
